Singapore Charlie Brown Cafe, known for its amazingly delicious food and great atmosphere is launching its brand new exciting menu and of course that means a new selection of delicious sides.

Charlie Brown Cafe’s golden krinkle fries are crispy, hot and and come in a big enough portion that you can share with a friend (not that you’ll want to)! The tartar dip is absolutely great! Plenty of good relish, a squeeze of lemon and a hint of onion. Or if you really want something that will blow your mind, why not try the cheesy crinkle cut fries? That’s right, cheesy! Drizzling cheese sauce on the already amazing golden krinkle cut fries just makes a good thing better. These are a must try!

The golden fried fish was crispy, fresh, and cooked perfectly. This delicate fish tastes like it is fresh out the ocean. Served with the amazing tartar dip I mentioned earlier, its a perfect side. Frankly id use that tartar dip for everything!

The first time I tried the grilled chicken chipolatas on the new menu I fell in love. These chipolatas are packed with flavor and are some of the best tasting chicken sausages I’ve ever had. Made with fresh chicken and spices you have to savour every bite. Not just that but you get a wonderful mustard sauce that gives the new chicken chipolatas a fantastic kick which is out of this world.

Golden and gooey, the chicken cheese balls on the new menu make a unique snack or an accompaniment to one of the main meals. Fresh, juicy chicken and rich melted cheese fried to perfection in these crunchy little balls of flavor are a must try!

The crispy chicken bites are made with fresh, tender chicken, are fried to golden excellence. Theses tasty snacks are served with an astounding BBQ Sauce. The BBQ sauce is wonderful; as a professional chef I’ve had great BBQ in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi and this beats those hands down!

The amazing new grilled chicken chipolatas are astounding and I’ll be back for more. Especially dipped in the amazing mustard sauce. As a professional chef I hate to admit it but Charlie Brown Cafe chicken chipolatas are even better than mine! I’ll have to get that recipe.

World famous Charlie Brown Cafe, known for its great food and fantastic atmosphere is just launched its new and updated menu including exciting new pasta dishes! A great selection of dishes can be found here.

With the exception of the Aglio Olio the pastas on the new Charlie Brown Cafe are served with a tangy and amazing ragu. Made with only the freshest tomatoes, its just like visiting Italy! Simple in taste, you really can taste the quality ingredients shining through. My Mother prepares her homemade tomato sauce in the Sicilian style with vegetables from her garden; this sauce is better! Please don’t tell her I said that! Charlie Brown Cafe finishes off these perfect pastas with a sprinkle Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. These finishing touches really add that authentic Italian taste you are looking for. Choose from two Italian pasta noodles: the classic spaghetti with its round noodles or the flat noodle linguine which originated in Genoa and the Liguria of Italy. The texture of the noodles is perfect.

I recommend you add a side of the mushroom soup which is home-made, hearty, piping hot and out-of-this-world tasty; the perfect complement to these wonderful pastas.

The tomato fish pasta is a great combination of crunch and tender. The golden fried fish was crispy, fresh, and cooked perfectly. This delicate fish tastes like it is fresh out the ocean. A must try!

The bolognaise pasta is a true Italian classic and not to be missed. Its made with either a tasty chicken or tangy beef ragu (arguably the best beef ragu I’ve ever had) that is rich and satisfying. This new Charlie Brown Cafe ragu has great flavor, texture and consistency! You don’t want to miss either of these fantastic bologna dishes!

And on to my absolute favourite item from the new Charlie Brown Cafe past menu; the aglio olio. This astounding pasta is made with plump fresh mushrooms, a lovely hint of garlic and spicy chilies. Its a flavour explosion that really hits the spot. Or for a great addition, order the Aglio Olio with golden fried chicken. Adding this fresh, juicy and crispy friend chicken cutlet to an already amazing pasta really make this dish sing. Spicy and tangy with a great crunch, you cant go wrong!

As a professional chef who tastes food for a living I am always excited when I come across a game-changer and that’s exactly what aglio olio pasta is. You wont find a better pasta dish outside of Italy! I’ll be back for this again and again.
